They suffered with poll tax, reading test, writing text, and being asked silly questions by the Democratic slave owners and Liberals (Copperheads), to prove that they, as ex-slaves were qualified to vote. 1870 the Fifteen Amendment was added to the Constitution giving American ex-slaves the protection and the right to vote. Now, an organization comes along and discredits the very same system that gave American ex-slaves a voice in the Democratic system. Acorn, saying that their organization does not support or condone the illegal activites of its’ individual members, yea, right! Acorns’ individual members are laughing and spitting in face of all the American ex-slaves that fought to have the right and liberty to vote. People died and were beaten to obtain the right to vote. Acorns’ individual members, who are representing the Democratic/Liberal Party, who have the same mentality of the Democratic slave owners and the Liberals (Copperheads) who wanted to keep American blacks as slaves, wants to control votes once again.
